A lot of parents dread having to deal with their kids being bored. What’s amazing is that there is so much to do yet we still find ourselves getting bored? A friend of mine recently finished her yoga teacher training and is now working with underprivileged kids. I was able to go watch one of her classes and was amazed how she was able to keep these kids focused and very interested in the class. Generally yoga has been for older people. But what I realized when I saw her class was that yoga can be a great way for kids to calm themselves down and get in touch with their feelings and emotions in a whole new way. I plan on taking some of these classes with her and am very excited to see what types of effects these classes can have. More to come!
